Job Description: Assist all customers, both internal and external, with parts and accessory requests, orders and questions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Assist customers with determination of P&A requirements, lookup of merchandise in catalogues, micro-fiche, etc.
-Greet customers immediately, in a courteous and friendly manner.
-Develop knowledge of P&A merchandise, new products, installation instructions, etc.
-Help maintain a clean and efficient P&A environment. This includes; stocking new product, merchandising the showroom for the riding season, cleaning up parts counter, catalogues and showroom.
-Ability to handle a high volume of telephone calls quickly and efficiently.
-Work with members of sales department and service department who have P&A requests
-Ability to work with multiple customers simultaneously while maintaining individual customer satisfaction.
-Participate in training courses to further knowledge in P&A sold through the dealership.
-Present an upbeat, friendly, outgoing personality
-Knowledge and experience of motorcycle parts and accessories preferred. The ability to learn and absorb material is a must.
-Ability to accept direction, follow instructions and work well with other people.
-Experience with Computer Point-of-Sale system or the ability to quickly learn.
-Being prompt and available for flexible scheduling.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
-Occasionally required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach and lift over 40 lbs. of material
-Noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.
-Will be potentially exposed to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning materials, exhaust fumes or other toxic materials commonly in a motorcycle parts/service department.
